Be our guest this holiday season for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! Young performers bring to musical life this romantic fairy tale adaptation about an inventor’s daughter and a selfish prince-turned-beast who must forever remain hideously cursed unless he can gain redemption and find true love. It’s a tale as old as time, spun with magical moments and unforgettable characters like the book-loving Belle, the unsightly Beast, Gaston the arrogant town Romeo, Cogsworth the pompous clock, Lumiere the love-struck candelabra and the kindly Mrs. Potts. Adapted from the Academy Award-winning animated film, this Children’s Theatre production features song favorites like the delightful Belle, the show-stopping Be Our Guest and the Academy Award-winning title tune, Beauty and the Beast.

With book by Michael Stewart, lyrics by Lee Adams and music by Charles Strouse, join the throng of adoring fans who scream at the mention of the hip-gyrating, Elvis-like superstar Conrad Birdie. When Birdie receives his draft notice from the Army, a publicity stunt to send him off with a kiss from one lucky female fan creates hilarious havoc. With toe-tapping timeless tunes like Kids, Put On A Happy Face, The Telephone Hour and Bye Bye Birdie, audience members and Birdie fans of all ages will agree, “We Love You Conrad…OH YES WE DO!”

A peek into the life of the Youngers, an African-American family from the South Side of Chicago in the 1950s. Insurance money, competing ideas on how to use it and the tussle among members of one family come to full view. In 1959, A Raisin in the Sun was the first play written by a black woman, Lorraine Hansberry, to be produced on Broadway, as well as the first Broadway play with a black director, Lloyd Richards. It has evolved into an American classic.

It’s a musical hoe-down as America’s favorite characters from Zuckerman’s Farm -- a gossipy goose, a gloomy sheep, a grouchy rat and, of course, a beautiful spider named Charlotte -- come together to save their friend Wilbur the pig from a terrible fate in this spirited country gospel musical adaptation by Gerry Cullity, based on the beloved tale by E.B. White. From the ‘kick-up your heels and wake-up’ song "Good Morning" to the bluegrass tune "Tough Act to Follow," parents will love to share this favorite story-turned-musical about growing up and the wonders of life with their children.

A powerfully triumphant exploration by playwright William Gibson traverses the oft-turbulent relationship of deaf and blind Helen Keller and her fascinating, dedicated teacher Annie Sullivan, herself partially blind and dubbed “miracle worker” by none other than Mark Twain. The journey of Helen’s increasing ability to function in the world includes frequent physical struggles between the two as well as the “miracle” of Helen’s utterance of "wah wah" (water), her first ever comprehension that word-sounds have meaning.
